Dear Guest,
The Venice Access Contribution is in force. As an overnight stay in an accommodation facility in the Municipality for which you will have to pay the Tourist Tax, YOU ARE EXEMPT from paying the Access Contribution but you will need to have a QR-code proving your stay at this facility.

To obtain the QR code for yourself and family, visit https://cda.ve.it/en

choose “Request Exemption”, select “I am a guest in an accommodation in Venice”, and click “Request Exemption”. Enter your “Arrival and departure dates”. In the data entry screen, use accommodation NUMBER 1410 and select option Hotel Alexander as a guest of this facility.

Add names of other guests under “Add holder.”.

Keep the acquired vouchers digitally QR code, and if checked, present them to authorized personnel at the city’s main access points.

You can check-in from 14:00 – 23:00.
In case of other arrival times, we ask you to kindly NOTIFY us so that we can welcome you as best as possible -> alexander@hotelalexander.com

You can check out from 07:00 A.M – 11:00 P.M.
In case you want to do a Late “Check-Out” (based on the availability of the structure), there will be a supplement of 40 € until 16:00 P.M.

If the hotel was fully booked the night before, check-in is possible from 14:00 P.M. In case we already had some free and available rooms, it will be our pleasure to give you the opportunity to use them as soon as possible.

We kindly ask you to leave the room by 11.00 A.M. for the Check-Out in order to be able to respect the Check-In time for the next guests.

In case of need, we have free luggage storage that can be used all day long, giving you the opportunity to visit our beautiful Venice even on the day of your departure.

Breakfast time is from 07:30 – 10:00 A.M in the restaurant room.

Breakfast will be a Buffet, with American Breakfast and Continental, in the spacious restaurant served by the dining room staff.

The hotel is located in the heart of Mestre, approximately 7.5 km from Venice

• f you come from Marco Polo Airport (VCE), using public transportation, you can use line 15 or the ATVO line towards Mestre Railway station, which will stop at the station next to the hotel.

• From Treviso Canova Airport (TSF) you can take the ATVO line towards Venice and stop at Mestre Railway Station; from there, take bus n° 15 or 43 to the stop. (110 mt from our Hotel ).

• From Venice and/or from the center of Mestre with the T1 tram to the Sansovino stop. (200 mt from our Hotel ).

• By car from the A4 Milan-Venice motorway, continue along the ring road and take the Castellana exit. Then just follow the directions to reach the hotel.
  The cost of the AEROBUS ticket is: €10 for 75′, €18 for round trip return A/R, €18 for 90′ also includes the vaporetto.

The hotel has both an outdoor car park and an underground garage and both are available free of charge while seats last.

Regarding the closed and covered underground Garage:

The hotel is fully covered by Wi-Fi, in all the rooms and in the common areas.

The bar is available from 08:00-12:30H and from 15:00-23:00H.

Alexander Hotel is located just 10 minutes by car from Piazzale Roma and can be reached by both public transport (tram, bus) and private. What we recommend, however, is to take advantage of our free parking and to use public transport, in particular the tram line T1 that connects  our Hotel (Sansovino stop) to Venice Terminal ( P.le Roma ) in about 10 minutes. (service frequency 10 min from 6.00 to 01.00).

Once you arrive in Piazzale Roma, you can decide to visit the city by walking or by Vaporetto, the public water transport of the Venetian Lagoon.

• Cost of the one-way ticket for ACTV tram or bus: € 1,50 for 75′.

• Cost of the one-way ticket for the ACTV VAPORETTO and BUS: € 9,50 for 75′.

• If you plan to use the water service more than 3 times on the same day, opt for the ACTV ticket valid 24h from the time of stamping (cost € 25,00).

• imed tickets with different validity are however available: 48h for € 35,00, available the 72h for € 45,00 and 1 week for € 65,00. Children under 4 travel for free.
• €27.00 – 3gg Days (72h) ticket for Youngs: Rolling Venice (Solution dedicated to young people aged between 6 and 29 years of age, the “3-day (72 hours)” ticket is valid for 72 hours from the moment of validation. The release is subject to the purchase of the Rolling Venice Card, cost €6.00 ​​on sale at the Venezia Unica ticket offices.)

If you want to reach Venice by car, you can park your vehicle in one of the following garages:

•  Tronchetto Park, at a cost of EUR 21.00 per day,
•  Municipal garage, at a cost of  EUR  30.00 per day,
• Garage San Marco, at a cost of  EUR  33.00 per day.
